Honda XR description

Runs excellent, starts every time. New tires have four hours on them, same with oil and spark plug. New hand grips, working head light and tail light runs all the time. Can include retro XR headlamp plate which can be wired to switch on/off. Has spare spark plug, breaks just tuned up. Tool pouch intact, only rip in seat covered w/ blue duct tape. Has aftermarket Cobra exhaust and desert tank, brush guards. Kick stand included but needs to be welded on. Nice bike, hate to get rid of it but it's just not getting ridden. Team Mugen Returning to TT Zero with Shinden 2

Noted Honda tuner Mugen announced it will compete in the 2013 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an updated version of its Shinden electric sportbike. Mugen entered the Shinden at last year’s TT Zero, with Isle of Man veteran John McGuinness finishing second with an average speed of 102.215 mph. Team Mugen managed to break the 100mph barrier but fell short to the race winner Michael Rutter who rode the MotoCzysz E1PC.

Honda to Sponsor and Compete in 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

American Honda announced it will be a partnering sponsor for the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb while also entering the competition, racing in nine different classes (well, seventh, plus “Exhibition” entries in both car and motorcycle categories). Honda R&D staff, engineers, test riders and drivers will compete in car, motorcycle and ATV categories. Honda will field a record ten entries in all, with nine different vehicles including the CBR1000RR, CBR600RR, CRF450R and CRF250R.

There has been no official information from Honda about the new generation CBR600RR yet, but it became known that the 2021 model will echo the older Fireblade in terms of its exterior. The "Six hundred" will receive a "two-eyed" LED head optics, the air intake will be located in the middle. Winglets will be added to the fairing to increase downforce at high speeds.
