Honda XR description

1983 Honda xl with less than 700 original miles. I'm the 3rd owner, it was bought for a guy's wife new in 83, she road it briefly, dropped it once and it sat in a garage for 30 plus years. It is in excellent condition, still looks brand new in a lot of ways. It runs excellent, first Kirk and very easy to ride. I used it for several months for a 2 mile commute. There is a crap on tachometer and headlight bezel, and a dent in the tank that could be pushed out easily. Great bike, only selling because of limited space and I have another bike. I have a hitch hauler and large biltwell DOT helmet that can go with the bike. I'm located in Brooklyn New York.... Shipping will be your responsibility, I'm willing to help accommodate the logistics if I can but shipping expenses and handling will be the responsibility of the buyer. I reserve the right to end the auction, bike is listed locally. Please feel free to ask any question or to make offers.

2013 AIMExpo: Skidbike

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

One of the most inventive devices seen at this week’s AIMExpo is the Skidbike, a novel creation that helps teach riders the skills to balance and to master threshold braking. It’s a Swedish/American invention originally designed to educate riders how to sufficiently apply brakes to avoid an accident without the danger of tipping over and causing injuries. It uses an electrically operated hydraulic ram built on a hinged dolly to reduce front-tire grip, which drastically reduces speeds when traction is lost so riders can learn how to use the brakes effectively.

San Francisco Motor Cops Can Chase You Up Stairs + Video

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

Let’s get one thing out of the way: trying to evade the police is dumb. One way or another you’re going to lose. And if you’re thinking of evading a San Francisco motor cop, or a law enforcement officer trained by them, by heading off the beaten path or up a flight of stairs, think again.
