Up for Auction is my 1982 Honda XL 125 S. I have owned it for over 20 years and it was purchased new from the original owner who is an old, dear friend. The bike has never been titled and is missing the original MSO as I never registered the bike and eventually lost it. It will come with a Bill of Sale. I have used this bike strictly on my property in Upstate NY for the last 20 years and have done routine maintenance as needed. Every summer I would pull it out of the garage and bet whomever was with me a hundred bucks that she would start within 2 kicks after sitting all winter. I never lost. The bike has just over 1400 original miles. The bike is no cream-puff as far as how she looks, but that is her appeal. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS. Honda MotoGP Testing Idled By Engine Failure Investigation
Wed, 29 Feb 2012A red warning light prevented Honda riders from taking part in the second day of MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. While its competitors were hitting the track, Honda was forced to wait for analysis on the engine of Dani Pedrosa‘s RC213V. A red warning light on the RC213V’s dash came on late in the first day of testing, indicating a potential failure.

Even although I had the dream ticket of riding for HRC in the 500cc World Championship I never stopped wanting to come back to the homeland and race my old mates. Brian Morrison started racing on the same day as myself and went on to have a successful carreer riding for Honda in the UK then later in the World Endurance Championship.
Honda to Introduce Larger “New Concept” Models for North America
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Honda announced it is following up on its NC700 series with a new large-sized model, with sales expected to begin in North America in 2013. Honda first announced plans for its NC700 models in at the 2010 EICMA show with a concept it called the “New Mid“, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise Honda would follow it up with a “New Large” series. The new models were announced in a presentation by Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito alongside plans to develop a new MotoGP-derived sportbike.
