Honda XR description

This is an amazing custom XR75. The motor has been upgraded to a 1982 XL125cc Honda motor. Motor was a ground up restoration. To many new parts to list. Motor runs excellent. Longer front forks were added with custom fender. New shocks, seat cover, tires, carb, grips, plastics, and more. Frame was stripped and modified to fit new larger engine. Custom bent exhaust downpipe with custom muffler. Upgraded chain size and sprockets to handle added power. Paint on bike I would rate 6 or 7. Paint is not perfect but looks real good. This is a really fun bike to ride. Would make a great pit bike or add to collection. You do not see to many of these with this kind of custom fabrication. Original motor, forks, and other parts will be given to winning bidder.

A postcard from Moto GP Jerez

Fri, 04 May 2012

If the weather over the Jerez Moto GP weekend was dull then the atmosphere in the press room was the complete opposite.  After the carnage and chaos during the Moto 3 race, the amazing Romano Fenati (in only his second GP) had the Italian journalists celebrating as he crossed the line to win. I smiled as they simultaneously began singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ as if to signify the end of Spanish dominance in the junior GP class.

Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT Race 1 Results

Mon, 04 Jun 2012

Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.

Honda And Repsol Celebrate 20 Years Together

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

If we were to play a game of word association, the mention of “Repsol” would automatically trigger “Honda” from the audience, or at least anyone who pays the slightest bit of attention to Grand Prix racing. That’s because the two companies have achieved much success in this, their 20th year as partners. The longest running partnership between sponsor and manufacturer in the history of the Motorcycle World Championship, Repsol Honda has won 10 World titles, 124 race wins and 338 podiums in 500cc and MotoGP.
