Bored .50 over with new piston and rings

All black parts powder coated

All new rubber grommets and grips, etc.

Tumbled engine cases

Powder coated left side engine cover and clutch cover

All hardware zinc plated

Nice original kill button

Polished hubs, fork tubes, valve cover and intake

New DG style pipe

Larger 17" front wheel instead of 16" Slightly larger rear tire also

All new Cables

If the black wheels are not what you are looking for  we can work something out and I can install a restored set of standard size chrome rims with polished hubs.

Buyer responsible for shipping. I can strap bike to a pallet and build plywood enclosure for an additional $75 to insure a safe delivery.

Deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of end of auction. Remainder of selling price must be paid with cash or cashiers check.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.

Rossi versus Gibernau at Brno in 2003. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.

The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
