2013 BMW R-Series (2013)
2013 BMW R1200RT with hard to find low suspension. 2013 was the best and last year of the good ones! 12,500 adult ridden miles, bike has never been dropped or down. Bike currently has standard BMW 2 piece seats, original low one piece seat included with sale. Bike is in excellent condition, only flaws are a couple of boot scuffs on the saddlebags. Bike has Clearwater lights and Illium engine guard/highway pegs. Major service done in spring 2016 and last oil change was at 10,400 miles. Bike has Michelin PR4 tires in very good shape, I would say 60-70% tread left. Bike has a transferable unlimited mile warranty through 7/1/2022. As with most low suspension bikes it does not have audio. Bike is currently on a battery tender with fuel stabilized for winter. Included with sale are BMW bag liners and BMW Tank Bag. BMW dealer just sold twin bike last month without warranty or any accessories for $13,900. Please don't waste my time with low ball offers as the price will only go up come spring. Clear title in hand. This is a beautiful bike that I would ride anywhere.2016-12-07 04:41:57Burlington, Wisconsin, United States1212,400.00

Strong runner, starts every time. Electrical all working. The BMW R90/6 was the top of the line model that BMW offered at the time. Equipped with their largest engine at the time a 898cc unit that produces just under 60hp. It was an instant success.2016-10-18 04:42:13Colgate, Wisconsin, United States337,500.00

1966 BMW R-Series (1966)
1966 R69S BMW Stunning condition museum quality R69S BMW . Triple numbers matching. Excellent restoration quality and in top condition today. Beautiful bright chrome, newer tires, professionally polished aluminum. Great running and ready to go anywhere. The cosmetics are amazing as everything is exceptionally detailed. Great paint and pin stripping. The engine runs like new and has excellent compression. I believe the drive train is rebuilt but I don't have any documentation. The motor has no smoke on start up and while running sounds absolutely normal and healthy with that nice vintage BMW sound. Oil seals are good and bike is dry underneath. I would not be afraid to ride this bike coast to coast and having said that we have a commercial airport nearby so a buyer could fly in and drive out with the bike. The bike has some wear from saddle bags on the paint. It is light and hard to see but it is there on shock towers and lightly on the fenders by the shock towers. This is hard to see and you really have to look. There are a few minor chips in the paint that are also hard to notice. One chip is the earls swing arm another is the top of the fork coveror triple tree top plate. Gas tank and headlight bucket are great nice paint and no dents. Some battery acid stains on one exhaust. I am including a set of chrome passenger foot pegs as I lost one of the original passenger pegs from the bike. I am also including some correct fuel line which I bought and never installed. The title states the year of manufacture as 1966 If you have any questions please email them or call me at: 92O-2O5-OO13.2016-07-28 04:55:37Kaukauna, Wisconsin, United States633600

BMW R90S motorcycle/ original one owner/ 1974 (1974)
This is an original one owner bike with a clear title matching numbers. It is a genuine R90S, and can be verified by running the VIN on a vintage BMW serial number reporting site. This bike has been resting for the last six years so it needs revitalization of the carbs to be a nice runner.2013-10-19 00:44:51Appleton, Wisconsin, US51,2526,500.00

1980 BMW R100S Exklusiv Exclusive Sport Original RARE Low Miles (1980)
ID of this rare BMW came from Tom Cutter who was employed by BMW US Importer Butler & Smith as their head technician and a Team BMW member. By phone conversation Tom told me he helped open the cargo container on a snowy Oct day 1979 which held the silver blue striped Exclusive Sport models. He stated the container had only 30 of these imported to the USA. He said very rare bike and asked if I was riding it. I said yes I did ride it he stated he wouldn't be! Main reason so few BMW were imported is in 1980 is it was the transition year between Butler and Smith and then BMWNA, imports were so low that was actually their lowest sales year in modern times. The multi blue stripe pattern Tom believed is likely copied from the Butler & Smith BMW 1978 Superbike racers. By a German info contact in 1979 the limited edition silver and triple tone blue R100S Exclusive Exklusiv Sport was designed by Walter Maurer from Dachau near Munich. The model also included chrome shock bodies black springs, polished aluminum fork sliders, carb covers & rear drive housing. This R100S is NOT a Lufthansa Airlines or Airliner pattern or color design as Internet rumors have evolved, these claims are false! It took 11 months of research to establish this information. When I purchased this R100S 7/13 it had 7800 miles now 8665 mi.,. Seat is in great condition soft and comfortable, all paint scratches are visible in images. Hand control info text/decals are in nice condition with all gauges including clock functioning. When new it had dealer installed optional high capacity deep oil pan as list on receipt. Original windscreen. Only con is the transmission has a false neutral only when down shifting from 4th to 3rd gears. I have the original take-off Continental tires included with bike. Collector could remount them and display as original stock. Has new Deka battery and 800 miles on a set of Shinko tires. This R100S came from original owner. Comes with ABT of Chicago sales receipt, water resistant tool container with cover, tools & pouch, owners manual, air pump, tire/tyre repair kit, front wheel locking cable, BMW shop rag and BMW service pamphlet. Last few images are of original tires mounted from last July 2012. The rusty R100S Exclusive Sport is the only image I have found of one in the USA. There are some fakes with painted on strips one I know from Canada. Checkout my feedback it show 100% for over 1,000 auctions. Please free to contact me about this collector quality R100S Exclusive Sport. HEAVYBARREL at CHARTER dot NET On Aug-26-13 at 22:30:51 PDT, seller added the following information: ID of this rare BMW came from an employee of BMW US Importer Butler & Smith. By phone conversation I was told a cargo container on a snowy Oct day 1979 was opened holding several of these silver blue striped Exclusive Sport models.2013-09-03 08:21:09Antigo, Wisconsin, US8,66511,100.00

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride
Fri, 03 Nov 2023A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300
Sun, 29 Jan 2023By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh.
