Honda Reveals First Look of Electric Motorcycle – With a Parade Float

134th Rose Parade takes place January 2, 2023 It’s been a couple of months since Honda outlined its electric motorcycle plans, which included a mix of mopeds, scooters and three large-sized “Fun EVs” destined for North America by 2024 and 2025. The initial announcement included a teaser image of two motorcycles and a scooter. Today, Honda released another glimpse of a future electric motorcycle in, of all places, a rendering of its float for the 2023 Rose Parade.

LEGENDARY JAPANESE tuning house Yoshimura has designed a series of slip-on performance end cans for Honda’s naked CB1000R.The brand new EEC-approved cans bolt straight onto the bike's exiting pipework and feature a stainless steel end cone and integral lower Yoshimura logoed cat-converter heat shield. Even with the dB-Killer baffle in place peak power is improved, as is mid-range torque with further performance gains available if the baffle is removed.A full race mid-pipe, extracting yet more power is on the way and will be available later in the year. James Bond’s Honda CRF450R from Skyfall Raises $162,000 for Charity

The modified Honda CRF450R ridden by Daniel Craig in the James Bond film “Skyfall” was sold at auction, raising 101,400 British pounds (US$162,440) for charity. Featured in the opening chase scene of “Skyfall”, the heavily modified Honda CRF450R received 67 bids from 40 potential suitors by the time the auction ended Nov. 22.
