Honda Valkyrie description

2003 Honda Valkyrie GL1500CTW, FOR SALE is my 2003 Honda Valkyrie 1500GL. If you're not familiar with this bike, it's a sister to the famous Gold Wing, but without the entire touring garb making it lean and mean. This is the best time to ride in Florida and what a great bike to have. I am the 2nd owner and have had it for 2 years. This bike has 34,000 miles which is nothing for a 6 cylinder Honda motor. I have a friend who has one with well over 100,000 miles on it. If you like chrome this one has it, while most of it is standard, there are a few exceptions like foot boards, dual karyakin highway pegs, and of course Cobra Longshot exhaust. If you are looking for power and reliability this is your bike. The Cobra Longshots offer great sound without being annoying. The factory alloy wheels look great with Dunlop nitrogen filled tires. The tires have about 50% tread remaining. This bike comes with leather saddle bags and a removable leather tour pack, a new Ultimate rider seat with backrest. I just paid $800.00 for the seat. Also, it has a matching Ultimate passenger seat. It comes with 2 removable windshields, short and tall, installed Cycle Sounds speakers and amplifier connect to your phone, iPod, MP3 player or anything with speaker connection. You can ride this bike anywhere with no problems; this is a great bike at a fair price of just $6,900.00. 1999's are on the internet for the same price (do some homework and check out eBay). I don't think you will find a better buy for the money. I have the title in hand, only selling because I wanted something different. Please no low ballers, Harley store offered me $6,500.00 trade in. So, I thought I would give someone a great deal. If you have any questions please give me a call. Thanks for looking and have a great day. Bill (941) 526-6922 $6,900.00 9415266922

2014 Honda CRF125F, CRF125F Big Wheel Announced

Tue, 09 Jul 2013

Honda announced a new off-road model with two wheel size options for 2014. The new Honda CRF125F and the CRF125F Big Wheel variant replace the outgoing CRF80F and CRF100F youth models, just as the CRF110F replaced the CRF70F in the 2013 model year. Essentially, in two years, Honda has replaced three of its long-serving youth-oriented off-road bikes with new larger-displacement models while maintaining the dimensions of the previous models to provide options for kids of varying heights.

WSBK 2012: Assen Results

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
