Carefully designed chrome engine accents, including manifolds, timing belt cover and reshaped head covers, add to custom styling appeal. Five-speed transmission with close gear-ratios for exciting roll-on performance. Quiet and virtually maintenance-free shaft drive. Simple-to-service screw-and-locknut valve-clearance adjusters. Tuned six-into-six exhaust system has three individual outlet pipes enclosed in a single muffler-like casing on each side. 2014 Mugen Shinden San Revealed
Wed, 02 Apr 2014Mugen have released these pictures of the 2014 Shinden San (three), the electric racebike Honda’s performance subsidiary is hoping will take victory at this year’s Isle of Man TT Zero event. The past two years the Mugen motorcycles have come second to the radical E1pc Motoczysz machines piloted by Michael Rutter. Details are relatively basic at the moment, but underneath the bodywork, Mugen says the latest Shinden sees lithium-ion battery mated to an oil-cooled three-phase brushless motor producing 134 hp and a whopping 162 ft.-lbs.

But this clip descends in to absurdity when the rider fumbles setting off on the Honda NR750 and drops the oval-pistoned beauty on its side. Did he stall it or is there a disc lock hidden within the pixilated video?
