Honda Valkyrie description

2000 Honda Valkyrie Interstate Edition. Only has 1 previous owner, was a daily driver, and was well maintained and garage kept. Has 59,742 miles at time of posting. Factory blue/silver paint. Does have some scuffs on the fairings and side bags and small dent in front tire fender as seen in the pictures from being dropped by original owner. Does have some minor rusting in a few places, but most of it should polish out, or is hidden well enough not to be noticable. Has the AM/FM/AUX/MP3 Stereo system built in, and sounds great.  Plenty of good tread left on the tires. Has locking hard saddle bags and rear trunk, and have all of the keys. Also comes with a bunch of extras; several oil filters, sets of brake pads, some hand grips. Also have original paperwork and maintenance records. More pictures available upon request.  Local Pickup only, Located in Dawsonville, Ga.  Will accept Paypal, Cash at pickup, or credit card at pickup.  No personal checks, please.

**Note** It has been brought to my attention that the CB radio is not installed, only the controls on the left handlebar.  If you want to use the CB radio, you'll have to find one and install it.  The FM/AM/AUX/MP3 antenna is attached, and those function perfectly.

Honda Fury Special Edition Controversy?

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

It seems the idea that there is a “special edition” Honda Fury has achieved urban-legend levels. Motorcycle.com recently spoke to Jon Seidel of American Honda to clarify some of the controversy generated in www.furyforums.com regarding a special edition Fury model. According to Seidel, no mention was ever made to the media during the Fury’s press unveiling or in any press material or at any other time, “that any Fury color or specific Fury model was a special edition.” Seidel stated that he also queried Honda’s product planning department about the existence of any special edition models and reported that no information had ever been released or implied from Honda Product Planning as to the existence of a Fury SE.

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
