Honda Valkyrie description

With sadness I am listing my 2000 Honda Valkyrie Tourer as getting ready to move and loosing my storage space. I have had the bike about 5 years and in that time only put about 2500 miles on it.. Bike only has 4822 miles, Silky smooth 1500cc six cylinder shaft drive putting out 100hp, and 100 foot lbs of torque. kept in tune and ready to ride. Bike is pristine with a Rare Professional Custom Black Paint job with ghost flames that disappear and change colors depending on angle and lighting(Amazing in person, but very difficult to photograph)

New Progressive rear shocks
K&N air filter
Modified stock exhaust for deeper exhaust note.
LED headlight, tail light and LED Cobra light bar.
Custom Mirrors with built in LED turn signals on both front and rear of mirrors.
Rare Chrome Center stand
Carbs rebuilt and re-jetted,
Smog delete.
Custom Corbin seats with back rest.
Chrome luggage rack.
Kuryakyn highway and foot Pegs.
Kuryakyn custom grips.
Polished Rims.
Chrome engine hanger covers and chrome radiator trim
Recent oil, filter and coolant flush and change
I know I'm missing something, but too many custom parts to mention.

Easily one of the nicest Valks around.

I do have this listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

2010 Honda Fury: New Honda Chopper Motorcycle?

Sun, 30 Nov 2008

UPDATE (May 19): Official 2010 Honda Fury Pricing UPDATE (Feb 27): The Honda Fury Review is finally here!!! Some may baulk at Honda’s description of the Fury as “radical.” Sure it’s not mind-blowing in the way a $60K custom can be, but it’s worth noting that not even Harley-Davidson has produced a bike with a rake angle so stretched or a wheelbase as long. So let’s admit that, for the normally staid Honda, the Fury is radical.

Schoolboy Heroes

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets.  Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force.  At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag.  Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125.  Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park.  I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed.  What and how do I become a motocross champion?
