Honda Valkyrie description

The 2000 Honda Valkyrie is one of those traffic-stopping motorcycles. Basically a stripped down Honda GL1500 Gold Wing, with lower gearing and six carbs, the Honda Valkyrie is actually reasonably good fun to ride and some might say it's best made motorcycle in America.

I am the second owner of this bike. I bought it from my father-in-law who could not ride it anymore.  All service records are available at the local Honda dealer. It was purchased from Redline Motorsports in Myrtle Beach, SC new.

This Valkyrie has 33,221miles in it and runs as if it is new. The rear tire was replaced less than 1000 miles ago. It does have the Cobra 6 Gun exhaust.  There is a small scratch on the left rear saddle bag that can be seen in the picture.  It does need to have the mirrors replaced due to pitting and the pull  handles for the clutch and brake have a little chrome peeling off.

I just did the service to the bike so everything is fresh.

WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

2014 AMA Supercross – Las Vegas Results

Mon, 05 May 2014

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.
