Those who know Valkyries will immediately realize that this one is a great opportunity for a lucky buyer. While a careful eye will spot some small nicks and scratches, the paint and chrome are otherwise in very good condition, as shown in the photos. Stock and unmolested, this motorcycle has been very well maintained and ridden responsibly. The carburetors are clean and synchronized. Oil and filter are fresh. Tires have excellent wear left. Brake pads are new. Ride it across the country and enjoy the outstanding wind protection, the power, the sound and the practicality offered by the hard bags. When parked you will have a hard time taking your eyes off it. The cream/burgundy combination is considered the most beautiful by many. Most Valkyries of the late 1990s have 40-80k miles on them. Yes, even an 80k mile Valkyrie can ride forever, but why not have another 70k miles of enjoyment? I hate to part with this bike but I need some cash for my business. Rea and Haslam Re-Sign with Pata Honda for 2014 WSBK Championship
Tue, 01 Oct 2013The Pata Honda racing team announced it has re-signed Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam to compete in the 2014 World Superbike Championship. It’s been a disappointing season for both rider, thanks in large part to injuries. Rea is currently on the shelf with a fractured femur sustained in a crash at Nurburgring while Haslam also missed several rounds earlier in the season because of a broken leg.

Mon, 13 Jan 2014After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

Mon, 27 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto had a poor start by his standards, finishing the first lap in sixth place.
