I am selling my 1998 Honda Valkyrie I am the 2nd owner and the bike has never been dropped or damaged Bike includes Windshield Leather Saddlebags Passenger back rest Clamp Style Speed Control Cobra Footboards Newer Dunlop Tires Approximately 300mis Bike is in very terrific condition cosmetically the original owner was older and in failing health and some of the chrome is pitted Mechanically it is in superb condition and runs well All maintenance was done by a Honda dealer If you are familiar with the Valkyries they are a blast to drive with loads of torque and power while being very smooth and comfortable

Honda Reports Q2 2011-2012 Results – Record Motorcycle Sales While Auto Sales Plummet

Honda reports a 20.0% year-on-year increase in motorcycle and ATV sales over the second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2011. Despite a record second quarter for motorcycle sales, Honda saw a drop in net profit due to struggling auto sales and the aftereffects of the Japanese earthquake in March and flooding in Thailand.

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
