Honda Valkyrie description
For auction, 1997 Honda Valkyrie GL1500, Runs and Drives Good with Clear Title in hand. I bought this bike in 2013 from insurance company for personal use and have put 5 to 8K miles on it. Starts, Runs Great. Transmission shifts and engages perfect. Clutch is smooth with no slippage. Front tire is new and has a 50% Darkside tire on back. Bought battery new when I purchased but is getting weak now. Recent Oil and Filter change, Rear Brakes, Front wheel Bearings and Seals. Look at pictures, damaged Head light bezel but light works as should on low a high beam, front windshield, dented gas tank but does not leak, scuffed drivers crash bar, speedometer is cracked and does not work, scuffed drivers storage bag on the top but not cracked or broke it closes and locks as it should. Also missing driver side plastic side cover. I still get a lot of complements on it. It cleans up nice and has apparently been garaged most or all of its life. I didn't want to spend any money on cosmetics, I just wanted a fun, powerful, unique bike to ride and enjoy awhile at a price that most people pay for just Sales Tax for a Bike that will compare to this Valkyrie In Power, Torque, Looks, and a Very Nice, Unique Dual Exhaust sound of the Six Carbed, Flat Six engine. The Valkyrie was made from 97 to 03 and seems to be collectable and Hold a value between $4,500 and $7,000. These bikes are also great for making trikes because of their power, torque and shaft drive. These engines tend to get well over 100,000. Miles and very reliable. I have never had one issue with engine or drivetrain on the two used Valkyries Ive owned. I purchase this For $3,600. and am starting bidding at $2,950. with no reserve. I need $500. in 3 days and balance at time of pick up or sooner. Any question please Ask. Thanks for looking and GOD Bless! |

Wed, 21 Oct 2009SORRY TO keep carpin’ on about porcelain bathroom products but this beauty, I think, is of great motorcycling significance. Feast on its elegant lines and classical, elegant beauty. Combining an integral hand basin (with a nifty electrically operated water pump in the cistern lid) this john not only provides ingenious space saving design techniques but also serves as a timely reminder to wash your hands once you’ve pointed Percy at the porcelain.

Mon, 15 Feb 2010Yoshimura is playing to the green movement with its new R-77 slip-on canister with integral catalytic converter. The version ready for the 2008-09 Honda CBR1000RR is claimed to be three pounds lighter than stock and offers a big bump in midrange power. Most importantly to the greenies, however, is that it produces fewer emissions than other performance mufflers.
