Honda VTX description

Very nice Honda Shadow bobber.  Runs and rides excellent!  It has been well taken care of, motor is stock-all customizing has been cosmetic with the exception of drilling the baffles out of the stock pipes.  It sounds much better and a bit louder, but not too loud.  It was professionally painted, though the Olde English "D" additions are just decals and can be removed.  The bike has never been down, and its in excellent shape.  There are a couple of small nicks to the paint on the left side of the tank, and a couple at the top of the air cleaner cover.  Stock turn signals up front, black bullets in the rear.  License plate bracket can be switched to horizontal if you get hassled by the cops.  Sweet leather saddle has been oiled regularly.  Please email with any questions!

Honda Launches Dream Yuga in India – One of The Cheapest New Honda Motorcycles Worldwide

Tue, 15 May 2012

Honda, the largest (by volume) motorcycle manufacturer in the world has launched one of its least expensive motorcycles. Made specifically for the booming two-wheeler market in India, the 109cc Dream Yuga is set to retail for 44,642 Indian rupees. That price wouldn’t translate directly here in the U.S., but a simple currency conversion at today’s monetary values equates the rupee cost to $830.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow.  Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion.  Mr. Badesha said outside court.
