Honda Silverwing description

I'm selling my very fast, powerful, and smooth bike because I have not been riding it this year and I am not using it enough for me to justify continuing to keep it.
I have owned it for the last 3 years and other than the first month or so, it has been stored in my garage when not in use. Yesterday, I gave it a thorough two pass hand washing
and waxing and recharged the battery and replaced the HONDA decal/emblem on the drive belt cover. The bike now starts immediately and very easily. I also just rode it through
my neighborhood to make sure that it was all working OK. I also tightened down the windshield bolts and cleaned the windshield. This bike has one of the most popular aftermarket
windshields - a clearview windshield. Since it is very large, it is very good at keeping the wind away from the rider. Also, the bike features a large and very popular GIVI cargo carrier
on the back of the bike. It is big enough to hold two full size helmets. There is also storage space under the seat. The powerful engine has fuel-injection, liquid cooling, and two cylinders
(balanced with counterweights) to make alot of very smooth power. MPG is approximately 48 to 50 using regular unleaded gasoline. The gas tank holds 4.23 gallons.
The bike also includes anti-lock (ABS) combined braking (FSC600A model) and requires no shifting  since it has a v-belt drive CVT type of transmission. According to information on the internet,
its top speed is about 110 MPH. One reason that I chose a RED model (with a cargo carrier) was that it is much more visible to other motorists than the silver model and/or without a cargo carrier.
Being painted RED and as visible as possible was very important to me from a safety standpoint. The tires are both Bridgestone brand tires. The front tire has about 1/8" tread depth and the rear tire
has about 3/16" tread depth and they are both in good condition. The owner's manual and two sets of keys are also included in the sale.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

2014 AMA Supercross – Daytona Results

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

Ryan Villopoto was dominant in Daytona, leading all 20 laps to win his third race of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki ride strengthened his hold on the 2014 AMA Supercross championship lead, padding his lead over Red Bull KTM riders Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen. The reigning three-time champion was far and away the fastest racer on the Daytona International Speedway infield, posting lap times more than a second faster than anyone else.

Honda CB900F Bol D'or

Sun, 24 Feb 2013

Slick videos shot on HD GoPros (complete with dubstep soundtracks) are now common place. But back in the late 80s, self shot videos were much thinner on the ground, due to expensive camcorders that were about the same size as a petrol tank and probably just as heavy too.In a blast from the past, 'Old love' features a Honda CB900F Bol D'or and was posted online a few days ago by the self-proclaimed 'one of the quickest 'drivers' in Langenhagen, Germany': Jan Rosanka. The Blue Order remix is a great choice to accompany the short but my favourite scene is the friendly 'hi' to camera followed by the middle finger.
