Honda Shadow description

Selling my 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750DC Custom Bobber. It was purchased by my father new in 03, I later bought it off of him in 06. It has 21k well earned miles. Everything about this bike has been changed, there is no other shadow out there like this one. Its a 750 V-twin 5-speed with plenty of power and an awesome throaty sound. The bike is very comfortable, smooth and handles fantastic.

San Carlo Gresini To Field CRT Entry with Honda CBR1000RR Engine

Tue, 15 Nov 2011

The San Carlo Gresini race team announced it will compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship as a Claiming Rules Team with a Honda CBR1000RR engine in an FTR prototype chassis. The move is a late, but unfortunately necessary change from the team’s original plan to run the factory-level Honda RC213V racebike. The late Marco Simoncelli was tabbed to ride the newest version of Honda’s MotoGP machine next season, but after his tragic death, Gresini had to find another option if it wanted to continue racing.

Words fail me. Presumably, if your pockets are deep enough to buy all the engine parts from Kitaco (how about a DOHC four-valve head?), this sort of performance is within the reach of every C90 Honda owner. All those cabbies doing their 'knowledge' would make mincemeat of London traffic with this sort of acceleration.

Classic corner: Phillip Island turn 12

Tue, 03 Jul 2012

Ask any racer what corners they would choose for their perfect track and the long swooping left that makes up the final corner of Phillip Island would appear on quite a few designs. Here the Honda World Superbike riders Jonathan Rea and Hiroshi Aoyama, along with technician Chris Pike and Pirelli's Giorgio Barbier detail the classic corner from the Australian track.
