This motorcycle will take anybody to The Sturgis Rally next month comfortably, economically, and effortlessly keep right in the midst of any motorcycles heading to the Rally. After you get there it is very good for touring the Black Hills or traveling the plains with no lack of anything. All this at a fraction of the price of a new motorcycle and you will realize you have truly bought a Shadow that is in LIKE NEW CONDITION.
We are selling it only because my wife has developed a health problem and at age 73 can no longer drive her own motorcycle. We bought the motorcycle as the second owner from the Honda dealer in Spearfish, SD with 1500 miles in 2012 and she is the only one who has rides it. Has always been inside the garage when not in use. I believe this motorcycle is as clean and close to new condition as you will find any where. We have installed Vance and Hines mufflers, also have the originals, a computerized self canceling turn signal indicator system, rear safety lights, windshield, luggage rack, backrest, engine guards, saddle bags, and tank pouch. Engine is water cooled and has a trouble free shaft drive and weighs only around 535 pounds. This is offered in other ads and will may be withdrawn from eBay is there is no pending bids. The tires are the originals and we have considered that in the pricing. When we are out this motorcycle will run with ease right along with my 2007 Harley Road Glide and with the water cooled engine is actually more pleasant to ride when it is hot. Has no lack of power for passing or in the mountains. I am 6ft 4in and feel comfortable riding it myself. Just a good motorcycle but it is time to sell it. Buyer will be responsible for delivery or pick up. I want a deposit of $500.00 upon successful bid within 24 hours and must have cash for the balance before the motorcycle leaves our garage. Honda Reports 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 25 Apr 2014A strong fourth quarter helped Honda see a 9.8% increase in motorcycle sales and a 9.3% increase in motorcycle revenue for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2014. The Japanese manufacturer reported sales of 17.0 million motorcycles and ATVs over the fiscal year, up from the 15.5 million sold in the previous year. Honda’s worldwide motorcycle sales increased in each of the previous seven quarters going from 3.8 million in the Q2 last year to 4.5 million in the most recently completed quarter.
