Honda Shadow description

For sale is a 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I purchased the bike from a man in Illinois that bought it brand new and now after several years want's to try something different, a "dual-sport" bike. It's always been garaged kept since purchase. The color is called Candy Dark Red and it looks great. Some of this particular bike's features are:

  •      1-owner (with only one adult having ever driven the bike)
  •      Fresh oil & filter change about 1,000 miles ago
  •      New battery 1,000 miles ago
  •      Genuine Cobra sissy bar with pad
  •      New "battery tender" lead installed
  •      Fairly new Bridgestone rear tire
  •      Brand new Bridgestone front tire installed yesterday (October 19th)
There's no evidence of having fallen over, been wrecked, dropped etc and it has a free & clear title ready to go. The bike is ready to turn the key & ride!

*This is a nice bike and will do the same thing as a new one for a lot less money!

2014 Pata Honda WSBK and WSS Team Presentation

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
