Team Aspar Announces Hayden Signing and Honda Production Racer

The Kentucky Kid, Nicky Hayden‘s signing with Jorge Martinez’s Team Aspar is now official, with the Spanish team finally confirming news many MotoGP followers were long expecting. Also expected was the announcement that Hayden will compete in the 2014 MotoGP Championship on Honda‘s new production racer (unofficially known as the RCV1000R.) “Thanks to everybody who helped make this happen & my fans still behind me. 2012 Honda NSF250R Race Bike Coming to America

American Honda announced it is bringing the new 2012 HRC NSF250R Moto3-spec race bike to the U.S. Though it was developed primarily for competition in the Moto3 World Championship, the 249cc Honda NSF250R will be legal for some racing classes in the U.S. including in USGPRU and WERA.

Aspar MotoGP Team Reveals Honda RCV1000R Livery

Team Aspar revealed its new livery for its Honda RCV1000R racebikes. The team revealed the silver and green livery in Malaysia, where riders Nicky Hayden and Hiroshi Aoyama will join the rest of the MotoGP grid in preseason test at the Sepang circuit. The colors represent the Malaysian energy drink manufacturer Drive M7 which signed a three-year deal to be the team’s title sponsor.
