Honda Shadow description

2006 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100. Silver with Gray ghost flames. I bought this bike in Sept 2009 with 6000 miles on it. It now has 29,000 miles and has never had any problems at all.

There is about $4,000 in extras here. Some of the bigger things include a very comfy mustang seat with driver's back rest, cobra slash cut pipes with a stage 2 jet kit, kuryakyn grips with throttle boss, driver and passenger floorboards, sissy bar, luggage rack, hard mounted lockable saddle bags, windshield, engine guards, cruiser pegs, chrome side covers and many other aftermarket chrome parts.

The front tire was just replaced a month ago with Metzler tire. The rear tire was not replaced since I had gotten a flat and replaced it awhile ago. I do still have the old rear with 5000 miles on it if someone would like to patch it. Metzlers are a huge upgrade and lasted 18,000 miles.

This bike has been on three different trips of around 3000 miles and has not had one single issue. 35-45 mpg, liquid cooled engine, fresh oil a couple weeks ago. High performance spark plugs and new K&N air filter this spring.

KBB is showing the value of this bike as $3,970 so you will be getting the $4,000 in extras almost free!

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

Austin Kicks Off MotoGP Weekend!

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

This weekend, the MotoGP circus makes its way to the United States for round two of the world championship, held at the stunning new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, the first time the track will host a world championship level motorcycle event. Expect to see the world’s fastest racebikes reach speeds over 200 mph on the 1 km (0.62-mile) back straight, and bring ear plugs — these bikes are loud! Fresh off a 1-2 finish in the season opener in Qatar, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are looking to carry the momentum to CotA.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
