2005 Honda Shadow Vlx Deluxe VLX600, This is a really great motorcycle, looks great and handles really nice. It has 2 sparkplugs per cylinder for efficient fuel burn. On my daily city drive it gets around 50mpg. Factory specs says it weighs 458 lbs and has a 25.6 inch seat. 2014 Honda CBR300R Announced for CIMAMotor Show

Honda announced it will present a new CBR300R sportbike at the Oct. 17-20 China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMotor) in Chongqing, China. A new global model, the CBR300R will be produced in Thailand, likely using the same production lines for its predecessor the CBR250R which it will likely replace in most markets.

Hero Honda Rebranded as Hero MotoCorp

Honda’s former joint venture in India has officially rebranded itself as Hero MotoCorp, revealing the company’s new logo and signaling the beginning of a new era for India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Formerly known as Hero Honda, the joint venture claims a share of nearly half of India’s two-wheeled vehicle market. Honda decided in late 2010 to end its 27-year partnership with India’s Hero Motors, buying out its 26% share for $855 million, about half the market price at the time.

Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
