Honda Shadow description

This is a NO RESERVE auction!! Do not send me a message asking what the reserve is!! Highest bid wins!

Yes!! It has a good, clear Colorado title.
Up on the auction block is my Shadow.  I hate to get rid of it because I inherited it from my grandpa, but I never ride it, so I figure I'll let someone else enjoy it.

My grandpa had the bike since the late 80's and always took very good care of it from what I remember. He was always very anal with all of his vehicles.  The only thing I've done to it since I got it was to strip it down, cut the exhaust, lower and paint it.  It also has a new battery and fuel pump.  The tires should only have a few hundred miles on them as I'm pretty sure grandpa replaced before I got.

It is really loud, but I have a pair of mufflers that I can weld or clamp on that would be included in the auction at no additional charge unless I need extra materials to mount them on.  I really don't know to much about bikes but I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.

The motorcycle trailer pictured can be purchased by the winner for an additional $100.00 and it has a good Colorado title too.

I have a Clymer repair and maintenance manual that comes with it too at no additional cost.

If you want more pictures of anything, just message me and let me know what you want.

Please do not wait until the few hours of the auction to ask questions.  I may not be around to answer them.

Please be patient with me getting back to you too.  I work for a living and don't spend all day hovering on the internet.

If you and one of your buddies thinks that it would be cool to run the bidding way up on my auction just to pull out at the last minute to scare potential bidders off and drive the price way down, think twice about it.  I will turn you into eBay for fraud.

Thanks for looking and good luck

Motorcycle Beginner Diary: What I Love About Being a Motorcyclist

Mon, 06 Jun 2011

Hey folks, it’s Dennis here, Motorcycle.com‘s Designated Newbie. As documented in our Motorcycle Beginner articles (and if you haven’t read them yet, check out the Related Reading links below!) we’re taking a look at the new rider experience and what it means to be a motorcyclist. I’ve had a couple of weeks’ worth of riding on the new Honda CBR250R (more on that in our next Motorcycle Beginner article) and so far I’m having a blast.

Honda has applied for a European Vehicle Type Approval for a new model

Fri, 06 Aug 2021

Earlier this year, a Japanese company patented the name and layout of the new NT1100 model. A while later, renderings of what a sports touring car with the engine and transmission from the CRF1100 Africa Twin might look like appeared on the network. Since then, no new information about the appearance of the NT1100 has been leaked, but just the other day it became clear that the model will be presented soon.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
