Honda Sabre tech info
Honda Sabre description
Classic 1983 V45 Sabre. Original Owner Bike. Only 18k original miles. Factory Front Fairing. Engine Bar with Highway Pegs. Original light, bezel, and mirrors included should you choose to remove fairing. Original owners manual. I am told that it has the anti theft system but I am not positive.
Recent services performed in June 2016 : Fuel system cleaned and serviced. Carbs cleaned, rebuilt and synchronized. Clutch Master and Slave cylinders rebuilt. New spark plugs and oil change, New front fork seals and oil. Bike fully checked out by Honda Technician. Everything is sound, Battery, Brakes, Tires, Clutch etc.... Runs great and looks damn good for a 33 year old bike! Aquired from the original owner and carefully brought back to the road. Runs and handles awesome. The horn and headlight switches work fine and are fully operable, but the buttons for those are missing. I see that assembly here on ebay, cheap. The paint and chrome is in great shape for its age, and I feel the aluminum trim can use a good polishing considering its age. Quite a high value bang for the buck at this price for this classic. NADA $1950.00 Come check er out! |

Fri, 17 Jan 2014The penultimate day of Dakar 2014 saw a dramatic change in the overall standings which could make for an exciting final stage tomorrow. Today, however, Yamaha Factory Racing rider Cyril Despres took his second special stage win of 2014 and his 33rd career win for Dakar. Coma, despite taking a 15 minute penalty, finished second for the day, maintaining his overall lead.
Remember push starts?
Fri, 18 Nov 2011Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be. Watch this space...... oh, and hopefully see you at the NEC over the next ten days!
Blind car drivers? It's your fault. Really, it is
Thu, 23 Sep 2010Be seen, you Making car drivers see you is an art form that you learn from experience and narrow scrapes. It’s a fact of riding a bike that you’re harder to see than a double decker bus, it’s obvious isn’t it? You're small, fast and mostly, totally obscured by the average A-pillar.
