Nice original condition Yamaha XS2 for sale.   This bike has been my daily rider for the past eight years. Has all the upgrades...including pamco ignition, new coils, halogen headlight, new tapered head bearings, new bronze swing arm bushings, and new reproduction shocks.  Nice original paint (one ding in the tank), nice set of original mufflers, seat is a reproduction.   This is a "turn key bike" as they say, and you will be able to get right on it and ride it. I also have a clear title for the bike in my name.

I want to point out that the mileage on the speedometer indicates 4,600miles , but the original owner did disclose to me that the original speedometer had to be replaced (stopped working) when it had approximately 7,000 miles on it.

We have a beautiful Yamaha XS 650 Flat Tracker built by Mule Motorcycles, this bike was featured in the March 2007 issue of Iron Horse Magazine.  This bike features a late 70's xs650 frame that was modified to accept a C&J head tube, a new down tube was fabricated with all chromoly tubing with all of the new engine mount bolts being grade 8 steel.  The front end consists of custom clamps holding Showa adjustable dampening forks from a Buell X-1 Lightning attached to stainless handlebars from Woods racing and a headlight assembly from a Harley Sportster.   The motor was completed disassembled and rebuilt, case were powdercoated with the top end being bead blasted. Mule Motorcycles used a Shell big bore 750 "street kit" along with all new gaskets and seals, new brass oil screens and finshed it off with new Barnett clutch springs.  34mm Mikuni carbs were used to get the fuel to the engine with K&N air filters to keep all of the dirt elements out of the motor while using a modified Triumph Speed Triple slipon exhaust system. This tricked out motorcycle also sports an all aluminum gas tank made by Racetec with a special flush mounted cap which was painted by Uptown Cycle Designs and the seat was fabricated by First Class Glass.

For your consideration, is a 1977 yamaha xs 650,This auction is for what is pictured only frame engine carbs tank ONLY!! i purchased this with the intention of making it into a cool chop, but no cash or time left , so my loss is your gain, The engine has good compression andkicks over well, there is no electric start, the kicker has a brass kicker pedal, there is chrome valve covers and acorn nuts, i have never had the engine running or apart, so i cannot say with certainty, of the condition, i was told from the previous owner it was gone through, but i have no way of documenting this. The transmission shifts well and is solid, it has a foot clutch and hand shift, a very unique set up, the goose neck pipes are one off,and it comes with a coffin gas tank, the frame had the hardtail treatment and the front neck is degreed for at least a six foot front end.

Celebrating 50 years of luxo-touring Honda/Align Media It was the second and last lap around Barber Motorsports Park aboard the Candy Blue Green 1975 GL1000 Gold Wing graciously on loan from Dennis Doyle, the brother of Honda’s Northeast Press Fleet Specialist, Rob Doyle. 2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride

Fri, 03 Nov 2023

A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.

Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.
