Honda Rebel description

This is a Honda Rebel 2001 with 3404 miles.  This bike starts and runs beautifully.  Two years ago I bought it.  Sputtering and starving for gas.  Rebuilt the carb only to find oxidation in the tank.  Ran great but I didn't trust the tank. So, I bought a new tank (with 2 small dents) from Honda on E-bay.  Problem solved.  Changed the rear wheel spocket to 30 tooth and the engine to 15 or 14 (I forget). Anyway, it glides along at 50 mph at a rice rpm.  Replaced the choke cable assembly including in the carb.  Saddle bags etc.  This is a nice small cruiser. Original foot pegs included.  Headlight chrome is fading.  All fluids changed and ready to go.

And it's goodbye from him

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.

A contrite Maverick Vinales has returned to the Blusens Avintia Moto3 team days after his brash, and admittedly hasty departure at this past weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The FTR Honda rider quit the Blusens team on Oct. 10, returning home from Sepang without once hitting the track.
