1977 Harley-Davidson Sportster (1977)
I am selling my 1977 Harley Davidson Sportster. As you can tell from the pics the bike has gone through some major modifications and looks nothing as it once did. The rear of the bike had the original frame cut off and a rigid/hardtail conversion installed. The front has a springer front suspension. A 3.3 gallon gas tank and a new Le Pera Solo seat with new springs added on. Forward controls along with drag handle bars, Harley chrome handgrips and shorty peep mirror complete the MEAN old school look.2016-10-24 04:39:34Drums, Pennsylvania, United States93300

1977 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLT, 1000cc, Iron Head, "Baby Dresser." The bike has about 38k original mileage. Most things work on the bike as they should and it starts, idles and goes down the road well. The rear brake does not work, the tires should be replaced and there a few leaks that should be addressed. I've ridden it about 3 miles and it seems tight.2016-08-21 04:38:39Montpelier, Vermont, United States3717000

Hard tailed 77 Ironhead, with brand new battery, tires, carb, wiring and some other parts. I just rebuilt the bike at the beginning of the summer and went through some minor mechanical issues, the motor was rebuilt right before I bought it and has roughly 500 miles on it. It's a nice bike but I want to buy an old car so it's time to say goodbye.2016-08-01 04:39:00North Olmsted, Ohio, United States05,500.00

First, let me say this. If you're an international bidder, or if you have less than 20 transactions on ebay, your bid will be cancelled unless you contact me first and convince me I should let you play in my sandbox. I'm relisting this because some Filipino troll hit the 'buy it now' button with no intention of paying, just ruining the auction.2016-07-08 04:41:13Jensen Beach, Florida, United States505300

1977 XLH 1000 Harley Davidson Sportster (1977)
This Harley Davidson Sportster is very fast and runs excellent. It has a Barnett racing clutch, brand new primary chain, and a brand new shifting lever. Transmission has been shimmed and gone through. The motor itself has 24,139 actual miles. Recently, I have been drag racing this bike in 300' dirt drags. Consequently, I have a brand new Maxxis knobby dirt bike tire on the back and a brand new 19" knobby on the front. I have the street tires and will include them with the bike. Some of the features are: RAM air to a Bendix carb New front forks (extended 4" from stock forks) with chrome springs New chrome exhaust with megaphones 19 tooth front sprocket which gears it down from the original 23 tooth sprocket - I have both sprockets and will include the 23 tooth with the bike O ring roller chain Awesome paint job - House of Kolors cobalt blue candy over black with sea blue flake - turns chameleon colors in the sun Speedometer and Tachometer are original - Speedometer goes to 150 mph and the tach has no red line. I have never seen this on a Harley before, and the motor will turn 8000 rpm Also not typical on a Harley, this bike has a power band - - when under full acceleration, the bike comes up to about 4000 rpm and snaps to 8000 rpm Currently, when raced in 300' dirt drags, first gear is about 150 ft, powershift second, and hang on for the other 150 ft because you're going 75 mph I purchased the bike from a friend, and I don't know the history prior to that. But it is in excellent condition!!!! I'm sure you will love it as much as I have. I will deliver the bike if you live within 100 miles of Grand Haven, MI. Otherwise, shipping/transportation are the buyer's responsibility. Payment - - I will accept official bank check or cash upon pick-up. If you have any questions, please call Cliff at (616)842-4026. Thanks!2013-09-05 19:53:10Grand Haven, Michigan, US24,1392,750.00

Getting a Taste of Honda’s E-Clutch Technology

2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride
Fri, 03 Nov 2023A European staple comes to America Photos by Align Media/Honda Adventure bikes weren’t really a thing in 1989, at least not in the United States. Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. At the back of the dealership where I worked in 1991, parked next to the tire rack, languished a 1989 Honda XL600V Transalp.
2024 Honda Motocompacto Review – First Ride
Wed, 01 Nov 2023A cult classic scooter electrified and reimagined for Gen Z Photos: Honda/Wedrick Campbell It doesn’t take long to scoot around Honda’s US headquarters in Torrance, California to see how the new Motocompacto makes a lot of sense. Honda HQ is effectively a campus, with multiple buildings interlinked by arteries of short roads. Walking is the usual method people use to get around.

Church of MO: 2003 Honda ST1300
Sun, 29 Jan 2023By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.
