Honda Pacific Coast 800 description

Here is a very nice PC 800, 1997 with all the popular options.  A log of the maintenance, Oil and filter changes have been preformed at recommended times.  Brakes in good shape.  Changed front shock oil and springs.  No cracked or damaged plastic.  A couple of very small hard to see scratches.  Only 26000 miles and changing as I ride it when I can.  Front tire about 50% and rear tire is brand new.  Always garaged inside so no fading of the paint.  I'm the third owner, all seniors.  Never laid over that I know of.  Here is a listing of a few of the options, Seat back, Mick-O-Peg highway feet rest, Handel bar risers, Two throttle locks, one is the latch type and one is on the bar end, Very nice top box with the extra strong luggage rack. LED tail/stop light. Perfect CLEARVIEW wind screen extra tall, the best you can buy. Voltage gauge installed in panel. Two rear differentials one is the stock version and the other is the 1100 unit that reduces the engine RPM, very easy to change.

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).

GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Wed, 13 Oct 2010

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.
