EICMA 2013: Returning 2014 Honda Models Announced

Along with an all-new CTX1300 and CBR1000RR SP announced at the 2013 EICMA show, Honda announced several more models returning for 2014 with some minor updates and new color options. Several of these models, such as the 500 series and the Gold Wing F6B were only introduced last year, so they receive just a palette update, while other models like the NC700X return with minor tweaks. In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market.
