Honda Other description

2013 Honda Stateline, 2013 Honda Stateline Grabs your attention...and never lets go It s only natural to fixate on things of beauty, so don t panic if you catch yourself gaping the first time you lay eyes on the Stateline. Maybe it s the classic lines and progressive retro-styling. Or the blacked-out cylinder fins surrounding that massive 1312cc V-twin. Or perhaps it s the machine s long, low-slung profile, perfectly accented with swept-back bars atop raked-out forks and full-size fenders spooning fat front and rear tires. Or maybe it s simply the combination of all these things. True beauty can be hard to define. It s even harder when, like here, it leaves you speechless. Super Cool. Super Capable Stylish and sophisticated two words that sum up the Stateline perfectly. Classic, retro-progressive design meets state-of-the-art Honda engineering, pairing a unique custom look pullback bars, raked-out front end, curved frame downtube with a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 1312cc V-twin tuned to deliver a full range of torque and power that s as much at home on the interstate as it is Main Street. Throw in front and rear disc brakes and you ve got a machine that s flat-out beautiful, both inside and out. 1312cc V-twin Engine Powerful 1312cc, 52-degree V-twin engine with a single-pin crankshaft and dual balancers has plenty of torque, and the feel only a V-twin can deliver. Retro-Progressive Styling Like its Sabre and Fury cousins, the Stateline, with its chopped dragster look, beefy V-twin and long, neo-design fenders, is one of the most authentic, radically styled custom motorcycles that Honda has ever produced. Full Valanced Fenders Those long, full-coverage fenders with their deep side valances are purely modern, but pay tribute to some of the classic cruisers of old. That combination of classic and new is what the Stateline is all about.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others.
