2013 Honda GL1800AD Gold Wing Airbag, SHOWROOM CONDITION-FULLY LOADED - When it comes to combining the best in performance, comfort, convenience and safety, there simply isn’t anything like the legendary Honda Gold Wing. For more than 35 years, the Gold Wing has set the standard for what a long-distance touring bike should be, and the 2013 Gold Wing Airbag model proudly continues this legacy. In addition to its powerful and super-smooth 1,832 cc six-cylinder engine and remarkably composed handling, the Gold Wing Airbag features luxurious accommodations for both rider and passenger, including the latest generation of sophisticated electronic amenities such as a user-friendly navigation system with the capability to share favourite ride routes with friends and other riders. Theres also a built-in MP3/iPod interface and a SRS CS Auto technology surround-sound system for a premium listening experience. And of course, you get the added safety benefit of the first fully integrated rider airbag on a motorcycle. With its progressive styling, ample luggage capacity, superior protection from wind and weather, heated seats, ABS brakes, and plenty more, the Gold Wing’s reputation as the most celebrated two-up machine in motorcycle history remains unchallenged.

Someone is Takin' the Mick

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

Pull out the slippers and plant yourself in front of a log fire and let Mick Grant talk you through his racing career. With a foreword from our Whit', the book details Granty's life from his Yorkshire roots through to all of his seven TT wins and the intense rivalry with Barry Sheene in the 1970s. Don't judge the book by it's cover, it's not a disaster like the out-of-focus oval-pistoned Honda NR500 but a good read.

Hot Lap Around Spa-Francorchamps With Xavier Simeon

Fri, 20 Jan 2012

If you’re a fan of motorsport on both two and four wheels like me, then you should be familiar with the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.

Misano Moto GP. Was it Divine Intervention?

Thu, 20 Sep 2012

I’m still buzzing from an amazing weekend of Moto GP in Misano. It took until Saturday lunchtime for the sun to get his hat on but from there on in the atmosphere at both the circuit and the nearby beachfront was first class. As usual on race day we had epic Moto 3 and Moto 2 races with respective champions elect Cortese and Marquez once again taking victories by just fractions of a second.
