The Honda NC700X is powered by an all-new eight valve 670cc parallel twin engine. The liquid-cooled, SOHC reaches its middleweight displacement via 73mm bore and 80mm stroke. A balancer shaft promises to smooth out the Twin, and the new ride makes use of Honda¿¿¿s standard PGM-FI fuel injection. Like the VFR, the NC700X will also be offered in a standard non-DCT system with manual six-speed transmission. Brough Superior to Make Moto2 Debut at Silverstone

The Taylormade Brough Superior racebike will make its Moto2 racing debut at the British Grand Prix at the U.K.’s Silverstone circuit. Backed by insurance company Bennetts, the one-off entry will feature British Supersport racer Luke Mossey riding the Taylormade Carbon 2 racebike. Led by California-based but British-bred Paul Taylor and John Keogh, the Taylormade project was started to rethink the spark the impending relaunch of the Brough Superior brand as well as to explore new ways of designing prototype race machines.

Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
