2012 HONDA Interstate ABS, The Honda Interstate Base is a cruiser style motorcycle with an MSRP of $13,240 and is carryover for 2012. Power is provided by a 4-stroke, 1312cc, liquid cooled, SOHC, v twin engine with electric starter. The engine is paired with a 5-Speed manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 4.4 gallons. The Interstate Base rides on aluminum wheels with a 140/80 R17 front tire and a 170/80 R15 rear tire. The front suspension is a telescopic fork while the rear suspension is a twin sided swing arm. Front hydraulic disc brakes and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide stopping power. The Interstate Base comes standard with a one-piece, 2-passenger seat. Thu, 19 Apr 2012American Honda and Honda Canada haven’t yet officially announced they will import the new Honda CRF250L, but the parent company has outed the dual-sport’s availability in North America. Honda has launched a new micro-site dedicated to the CRF250L describing its features including its CBR250R-derived engine. Redding Signs with Gresini to Ride Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Current Moto2 points leader Scott Redding has signed a two-year contract to race in the MotoGP class for the Go&Fun Honda Gresini team. The 20-year-old British rider will join Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini team riding the new Honda‘s new production racer the team reveals will be called the RCV1000R. Redding leads the Moto2 championship for the Marc van der Straten racing team with 167 points, a comfortable lead of 21 points ahead of Tuenti HP 40‘s Pol Espargaró with seven rounds to go.
