The 16-valve 4 cyl CB1000R is a descendent of the 4 cyl CB750, introduced in 1969. It marks the replacement for the Honda 919. Honda gave the MSRP as being roughly $12,000. Acceleration comes from the smooth 998cc in line fourvproducing a compression ratio of 11.2:1. Two front dual 310mm discs bitten by radial-mounted Tokico four-piston calipers and a single 256mm disc rear deliver the breaking power. American Honda will however, likely be keeping a close eye on how the new models do with its northern neighbor (or perhaps “neighbour”) before deciding whether to import the NC700 models stateside. Making their North American debuts at the 2011 Toronto Motorcycle Show, the naked standard NC700S and the more adventure-touring styled NC700X represent a new product family for Honda, sharing the same frame and 670cc parallel Twin engine with each other and the Honda Integra scooter-motorcycle crossover (speaking of which, there are no plans for the Integra to come to either the U.S.
Honda Rebel 1100 Touring Variants Confirmed for 2023
Wed, 05 Oct 2022Rebel 1100T will be offered in manual and DCT versions Honda is preparing to launch new touring variant for the Rebel 1100 and Rebel 1100 DCT. The proof comes to us via vehicle emissions data from the California Air Resources Board and vehicle certification data from Switzerland. A CARB executive order certifying the 2023 Rebel 1100 and its DCT variant sees the addition of two more variants, the Rebel 1100T and Rebel 1100T DCT.
