2008 HONDA GL1800PM8, A very nice pre-owned Gold Wing was turned into a 2013 Trike Shop Roadsmith trike right here at our store. Dalton (our service tech who builds the trikes) did a great job on this conversion. The trike features the HT1800 kits including 16x7 alloy rims, carpeted trunk, and trailer hitch. We added to the base kit: Adjustable pre-load, performance sway bar, parking brake, Wing Guards, 5-1/2 degree steering kit, progressive fork springs, fender spoiler lights, trunk courtesy light, lighted mud flaps, chrome nerf bumper, Centramatic wheel balancers, crash bar mounts, wheel well trim package, draw bar, and trailer converter. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no official pictures, only the fantasies of fans and third-party designers. Only one thing is clear - the engine will be 1100cc, and just like the CRF1100 Africa Twin touring enduro and CMX1100 Rebel chopper, the engine will be offered with both a conventional motorcycle foot-shift gearbox and a DCT robot.

Thu, 14 Jul 2011Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.
