12,174 mis on it. Salvage title. Engine runs good. Has minor scratches. Needs rear tire (right now it has no air because I has not been driven in three months) No engine problems. I have not driven this bike for like 3 mnths so it has been sitting in the garage the whole time. I run test it once a week to maintain the motor in terrific condition. As we expected following similar recalls in Australia and Japan, American Honda has announced a recall campaign on the 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R because of a risk of oil leaking from the engine. The recall affects 6,954 units in the U.S. including ABS and non-ABS models.

Max Biaggi Announces Retirement

Max Biaggi will retire as a champion, announcing his decision to step away from the sport after winning his second World Superbike Championship by just half a point. The man known as the Corsair and the Roman Emperor announced his retirement this morning at a press conference at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome, Italy. Biaggi ends his 21-year international racing career with six world championships, with four consecutive 250cc Grand Prix titles from 1994 to 1997 to go along with his 2010 and 2012 WSBK titles.

Pedrosa Staying with Repsol Honda Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.
