This bike starts and runs well.  It has been in a front end collision and needs repair.  The bike has been partially disassembled for inspection but we do have the removed components.  The bulk of the damage is to the front fork.  The rear fender has been scratched, the exhaust has also minor damage and the handle bars have been unbolted and not reattached yet.  This is an incredible opportunity for someone who has the time to repair this fine collectible machine.  Our shop is very busy this time of year and winter comes fast in Chicago.  My loss is your gain.  Please feel free to call with any questions.  Thanks and good luck.

Good People, Bad Credit?  We can help.  Go to dsphonda.com to fill out an online application.  If you are going to finance  this purchase please DO NOT BID until you have been approved for  financing.

Our shop is open Tuesday - Friday 10:00am to  6:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm central time.
Please feel free to come by our shop and view the items for bid  (Please phone first so we may have items ready for you.).  The bike is sold  as-is with no warranty.  This bike must be picked up at our shop!  We  accept postal money orders, cash and credit cards (up to $2500.00 per  vehicle transaction).  Illinois residents and reciprocal sales tax states please add for tax, license and  title.  All purchasers must add $164.30 documentation cost.  For purchases over $1000.00 a deposit of $1000.00 is due  within 3 days of notification of a winning bid, with the balance due within  7 days of notification. We do not ship bikes but we are glad to cooperate with your shipper. THIS AUCTION IS LIMITED  TO U.S. RESIDENTS ONLY.  Titles will be sent to purchasers, by FedEx,  approximately 10 days after final payment.  We reserve the right to end  this auction early. How do 1000s compare to the 800s

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.

Honda Tuner Mugen Motorsports to Enter 2012 TT Zero Electric Race at Isle of Man

Thu, 16 Feb 2012

Engine tuning company Mugen Motorsports announced it will compete in the TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Though not officially a Honda company,Mugen was founded by Hirotoshi Honda, son of Honda founder Soichiro Honda, and the company is best known for its work as an engine tuner and parts maker for Honda vehicles. The Mugen entry to the TT Zero represents possibly the closest connection so far between a traditional motorcycle OEM and the relatively new realm of electric motorcycle racing.

Ronax 500cc Two-Stroke Sportbike Coming June 8

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

German company Ronax GmbH is producing a limited edition street-legal two-stroke sportbike rumored to be based on the Honda NSR500 GP racebike. The company isn’t releasing much information but what little it has revealed about the Ronax 500 has certainly piqued our interest. What we do know for certain is the motorcycle will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V-4 engine, which sounds like Honda’s racebike of yesteryear.
