We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Brothers Ben and Tom Birchall rebounded from a disappointing finish to the first Sure Sidecar race with a solid victory in their second race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Birchall brothers had the early lead in the first race but were forced to retire on the first lap after puncturing a tire. Their second race went much better however, as they led from start to finish for their first ever win at the Isle of Man.

MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees

The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.
