2001 Honda Goldwing, Basically unchanged since 2001, the Gold Wingwinner of countlessCW10 Best awards since 1976uses a sohc flat-Six engine that made 103.9 creamy-smooth horsepower and 111.5 ft.-lbs. of torque when we last dynoed it. Its bolted into a sporty twin-spar aluminum frame that puts 66.4 inches in between the axles. Linked brakes (ABS is optional) slow things down and air-adjustable rear suspension (with non-adjustable fork) holds everything up. For 2006, Honda added optional packages, like GPS and cold-weather comfort for select models, and for 2008, it offers four new colors, including the disco-fabulous Pearl White I tested.First impressions are lasting ones, and the Wing doesnt disappoint. The seat is supportive and spacious (and it stays that way for a long timeI didnt get sore for 1500 miles). The reach to the ground is reasonable, even for my 5-foot-6 frame, and the pegs are low. Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

2013 Honda PCX150 Announced – Scooter Now Freeway-Legal

Honda has updated its PCX scooter for 2013 with a larger 150cc engine. The 2013 Honda PCX150 replaces the previous version’s 125cc engine with a 153cc powerplant. Honda hasn’t stated how much of a performance boost the larger engine has over the previous one, though the new displacement means the PCX is now freeway-legal in many states.
