Up for auction. A 1995 Honda PC 800 Pacific Coast motorcycle. I have owned this motorcycle for roughly 2 years. I purchased it from an elderly gentleman who was no longer able to ride it. The "bike" is in pretty good shape with low miles. It does have some garage scratches on it but nothing serious. All the plastic is in good shape, no cracks. The windshield is also free of cracks. The "bike" has only 24,765 miles. The tires are in good shape. It has an aftermarket "trickle" charger if needed over the winter. ALL the original manuals and tools are present and in good condition in the trunk area. THE NEW MEXICO SUN HAS NOT BEEN GOOD TO THE SEAT! The "bike" sat in a carport for many years and the heat and sun has discolored and cracked the seat (replacements covers are available on ebay and other internet sites) The only thing I know that it needs are some front shock seals, there is a small leak. The "bike" starts, runs, rides & brakes well. My wife and I have done a few day trips on the "bike" up and down the mountains and thru all types of weather without any issues. I feel that the "bike" is ready to go whenever and wherever you would like to. We are located just North of Albuquerque New Mexico. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements. I will help facilitate logistics but not pay from them or do it myself (no delivery). The winning bidder wishes to pick up the "bike" I will help load it if needed and I have ramps and so on. Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood

Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.

Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto had a poor start by his standards, finishing the first lap in sixth place.
