Honda Other description

Up for auction. A 1995 Honda PC 800 Pacific Coast motorcycle. I have owned this motorcycle for roughly 2 years. I purchased it from an elderly gentleman who was no longer able to ride it. The "bike" is in pretty good shape with low miles. It does have some garage scratches on it but nothing serious. All the plastic is in good shape, no cracks. The windshield is also free of cracks. The "bike" has only 24,765 miles. The tires are in good shape. It has an aftermarket "trickle" charger if needed over the winter. ALL the original manuals and tools are present and in good condition in the trunk area. THE NEW MEXICO SUN HAS NOT BEEN GOOD TO THE SEAT! The "bike" sat in a carport for many years and the heat and sun has discolored and cracked the seat (replacements covers are available on ebay and other internet sites) The only thing I know that it needs are some front shock seals, there is a small leak. The "bike" starts, runs, rides & brakes well. My wife and I have done a few day trips on the "bike" up and down the mountains and thru all types of weather without any issues. I feel that the "bike" is ready to go whenever and wherever you would like to. We are located just North of Albuquerque New Mexico. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping arrangements. I will help facilitate logistics but not pay from them or do it myself (no delivery). The winning bidder wishes to pick up the "bike" I will help load it if needed and I have ramps and so on. Upon a winning bid and close of auction a 500.00 deposit will be due via paypal within 24 hours of close. Please email with any questions or text to 505-717-6949. ** THIS MOTORCYCLE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY ** ## BID WITH CONFIDENCE! I HAVE OVER 700 + POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND HAVE BEEN WITH EBAY FOR OVER 17 YEARS. ##

How do 1000s compare to the 800s

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
