Honda has a way of being, ahead of there times, so it was in the late 80's when Honda built the Transalp.  There was no category for Adventure Bikes at the time,  In the original brochure, Adventure was used 6 times, but not in the name.  This bike is all original and well maintained, with oil changes ever 2000 mile, recent battery, chain, sprockets, center stand and 14inch National windshield. It has a power supply for accessories, heated grips and custom Bill Mayer seat.

“The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday

The stage is set for ”The Meet at ACM” motorcycle show this weekend in Tacoma, WA. While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.

2012 Honda CRF250L Announced for Europe But Not For America … Yet

Honda announced it will introduce the new CRF250L to Europe this year. North American availability has not been confirmed, though it appears the new dual-sport, which shares a similar engine to the Honda CBR250R, may soon be announced for these shores. While there’s no official word on the Honda CRF250L in the U.S.,the liquid-cooled dual sport has already appeared in North America, appearing last weekend at the Montreal Motorcycle Show.

Ryan Dungey returned to the top of the podium for the first time since late February with a victory at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With the injured Ryan Villopoto already crowned the 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, the win put Dungey back in contention for second overall. The Red Bull KTM last tasted victory Feb.
