1989 Honda Goldwing GL 1500 w/ Trailer, This Gold Wing has a color matched trailer with it! The GL 1500 Gold Wing was Honda's top of the line touring bike from 1988 to 2001, This one is a 1989. The Engine on the GL 1500 models is a liquid cooled, horizontally opposed six cylinder 1520 cc with single overhead camshafts and hydraulically operated lifters. Fuel is delivered to two down-draft CV carburetors by an electric fuel pump. The front suspension uses a pair of conventional damper rod forks with an anti-dive device built in. Final drive is by a shaft. The front brakes uses dual disc and the rear brake uses a single disc, the front and rear brakes are interlinked; the brake pedal operates the front left brake as well as the rear brake. The right front brake is operated by the lever on the right handlebar independently of the rear and left front brake.The trailer has new tires on it, the spare is new also. Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season
Thu, 10 Apr 2014Colin Edwards has announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2014 MotoGP season. The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.
Honda VIP Package Available For Indianapolis MotoGP
Mon, 12 Aug 2013For the 2013 Red Bull Indianapolis MotoGP event, Honda is offering a VIP package it has never offered before. Plus there will be opportunities for fans to attend interviews with Repsol Honda riders Dani Pedrosa, Marc Márquez and LCR Honda rider Stefan Bradl. Interviews with Pedrosa and Márquez will take place on Saturday from 4:30 to 4:45 pm on the Moto Midway Main stage, while Bradl and Livio Suppo, Repsol Honda Team Principal, will be interviewed at the Honda display tent (time to be determined).
Honda CTX1300 Spotted During Film Shoot
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Last month, we were one of the first to report on these leaked documents listing several upcoming Honda models, including one CTX1300. These images of the Honda CTX1300 were taken during the bike’s promotional filming on a motorcycle that looks to be production-ready. With a body style closely resembling that of the smaller displacement CTX700, the major, and most obvious, difference with the 1300 is the larger, 1261cc engine, believed to be sourced from Honda’s sport-touring stalwart, the ST1300.
