1989 CB1This is an ex-cmra race bikeThe motor was completely gone throughIn December 2010 and has very lowHours since then. I purchased it from a 60 yr old guy who pre-owned it a couple timesDoing track days. I have owned it for about 6 mnths and have had it out on 3 trackDays. This bike is an absolute blast to ride. Unfortunately, I low sided it at my last outingand it has some minor rash on the tail section. The throttle tube (plastic) broke also. The bikestarts up and runs awesome, just needs a coupleThings to get it back to 100%.In 2010 the bike got a complete new clutch, battery, Pistons, rings, valve job, new intake carb mounts,Air box inlets, rebuilt carbs, new plugs & wires, Air filter, front brake pads. The bike also has emulatorsand springs in the forks installed by JM SuspensionCBR 900RR adjustable rear shock with reservoir also set Up by JM Suspension. I have several boxes of spare partsIncluding spare transmission gears, front & rear sprockets, chains and miscellaneous original parts including the originalRear tail section, blinkers, side plates, ect.Bike comes with a clear title also.Included with he sale is a 1990 CB1 Parts bikeWith title also.Call / Text If you have any questions. Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Honda CBR250R Sticking Around for 2014, Getting Facelift to Match New CBR300R

Earlier this month, Honda unveiled a new CBR300R model at the CIMAMotor show in Chongqing, China. The assumption was the 286cc CBR300R would replace the CBR250R as Honda’s entry-level sportbike. The CBR250R isn’t completely disappearing however, as Honda announced the 2014 version will be appearing at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Nov.

Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

Colin Edwards has announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2014 MotoGP season. The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.
