Honda Other description

Hi!

Here my beloved NX650 up for grab. If you are reading this, chances are you know what you're looking at so I'll pass on the history and details of this rare, awesome motorcycle.

Bike condition:

-New front and rear tires (80-20)
-new chain and sprockets last year (maybe a 1000 miles on the new set)
-New brakes front and rear
-custom dual pipes (out of brand new CRF250 pipes), have the original but they are cut. Exhaust sound just a little louder than stock, same tone really. Can't tell it's modified, look oem.
-oversize pro taper bars, I have the stock bars
-odi grips
-aftermarket adjustable levers (not pictured)
-Euro oem passenger foot pegs, back rack, and skid plate (not installed)
-stage 3 jet kit, idle and run smooth, doesn't stall or backfire.
-oil change every 1000 miles
-valves adjusted in the spring
-new battery

I got this bike 6 years ago for my dad to ride when he come visit once a year. He had one when they came out in 88', I had the 250...

He turn 70 and moved to a cruiser, the NX is just to tall for him. I would trust my NX to go anywhere in the world tomorrow.
The bike is not perfect, left fairing has a small crack, some small scratches here and there, but a solid clean bike never used off road. condition is about 7 out of 10. running 10 out of 10.
I have too many bikes and its time to let it go...make a offer but I wont give it away. Tel: 484-524-5327

Thanks!

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

Honda RC-E Electric Sportbike Revealed at 2011 Tokyo Motor Show

Wed, 30 Nov 2011

We’re still waiting for any technical details but here are initial photographs Honda has released of its new RC-E electric sportbike concept at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. (Updated with six more high-resolution images.) Honda describes the RC-E as an electric version of a supersports bike, claiming a powerful and smooth ride for an electric vehicle within the compact form of a 250cc-class motorcycle. The images clearly show Brembo calipers and Ohlins suspension, and we especially like the LED headlights and the retro styling.
