This 1988 Honda NX 250 has a uniquely designed water cooled DOHC engine. 26 HP @ 8500 RPM. Matched up to a 6 speed transmission, and electric start. This bike has a top speed of 87 mph. But does like speeds of 60 or so on the road. Gets 65 to 80 mpg. Depending on how you ride. Weight is only 260 lbs. Makes for great handling both on and off road. This rare duel sport has less than 5,000 original miles, still running the original equipment tires, rear is getting worn. Honda Sold 16.8 Million Motorcycles in 2013

Honda announced sales of 16.8 million motorcycles in 2013, an improvement of 8.7% from the 15.5 million motorcycles sold in 2012. The announcement was made two days before Honda’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013, so we will have to wait to hear the financial impact, but based on these numbers, the quarterly report should be positive.

2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.
