1985 Honda NS250R Freddie Spencer #40 Replica

GO TO KAPLAN CYCLES YOU TUBE PAGE FOR FULL VIDEO OF BIKE!!

These are the holy grail of two-stroke road racing!

These bikes are not around considering they were either raced or crashed. Seize the opportunity!

These Honda NS250Rs used to dominate the racing scene! It won the 250cc World Championship 11 times! This bike was distinctly modeled after Freddie Spencer’s race bike! These bikes are seriously light & agile, coupled with a powerful two-stroke engine made for very quick lap times! These bikes had a strong presence is the Isle of Man & many other historic racing events!

This bike possesses a massive fun factor! Once the power band is reached this thing goes into warp drive!

Sweet decal package with various Honda racing sponsors! Truly one of kind! NADA does not have a value on these bikes because they are so rare!

New rear tire! Less than 200 miles!

Ready to make a highlight in your personal vintage racing collection!

It sported both an aluminum frame & swing arm, unheard of on a road-bike in its day, along with Honda's trendy Astralight wheels. Again Honda used the ATAC system similar to the MVX, but had now introduced a nickel-silicone carbide (Nikasil) coating on the cylinders for reduced friction and greater wear resistance. 45hp @ 9500rpm out of the showroom made the NS250 an instant hit with Japanese sports riders and club racers alike! It's design and styling was taken directly from the works RS250R's of that era, a bike that was cleaning up in GP's and eventually allowed Freddie Spencer to win both the 250 & 500 World GP titles in the same season!

Honda NM4 Vultus Concept Revealed

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

Honda revealed a new concept model called the NM4 Vultus, a futuristic-looking 745cc motorcycle with a massive front fairing. Despite the fact it looks like a mockup made for a movie like the Kawasaki-based bike in the recent Robocop reboot, Honda says the NM4 is indeed planned for production. The NM4 was designed by a team of young engineers in their 20s and early 30s, and that’s demographic Honda wants to target with its new concept.

Pikes Peak: Beware of Falling Hondas + Video

With 12.22 miles of road winding its way to the 14,115-ft. summit, Pikes Peak International Hill Climb can be a daunting and dangerous challenge. Just ask our own Troy Siahaan who competed in last year’s “Race to the Clouds“ and broke his foot after crashing and falling off a 15-foot drop.
