Honda Other description

Maria Wy. at Payne Ave Hi, selling my 1985 Honda Elite CH250 Scooter. This scooter is all complete and very clean starts and runs perfect, everything works, only 14,528mis, plenty of power. I maintained it by the book and have the records. I am the second or third owner. I pre-owned it as my commuter for a half expressway and half freeway commute. I am selling it because the crankcase breather tube keeps filling up will oil very fast and I have to keep emptying it once a week and filling the engine back up with oil, and now oil is starting to come out of the airbox and is causing it to drip oil. I am not sure why it does this, maybe because I take it on the freeway, or maybe because there is something wrong with the engine. Either way I don't want to deal with it and since I am not going to drive it until the summer again I have decided to sell it and buy a fullsize motorcycle than can handle the freeway no problem. This is the only reason I am selling it. Besides this, this is a fantastic condition scooter.Asking $1,400 cash OBO. First Look: Marotti Honda-engined trike

Wed, 10 Feb 2010

TAKE A HONDA VFR750 engine, a reverse trike chassis and some Batman-style aerodynamic bodywork and this is the result. Polish company Marotti have built this 100bhp prototype model using a 750cc Honda motorcycle engine. The company is now planning to frighten potential customers witless with a new 1.4 litre engine machine that will deliver a claimed power ratio of 397bhp/tonne.Oooh, yer bugger...

BMW 1000RR and the Honda C70, are they indestructible?

Wed, 20 Apr 2011

I’ve managed 1374 miles on the Michelin Power Pures (mostly on track) and although we’ve had some decent temperatures they still look like new so there’s plenty meat left for another month at least. I’ve been running them at 30psi front and 32psi rear and find they warm up after a few miles but I wouldn’t say the temperature comes any quicker than any of the competition so it has to be four miles before I get brave. I’ve had a few out the seat moments with my BMW but I have got the rear suspension  set pretty hard (8 rebound,8 compression, two turns on pre load) and in slick mode, so 190bhp in first gear at the Knockhill hairpin is always going to be dodgy.
