You are bidding on a one owner 1982 Honda GL500 Silver Wing. The bike starts right up every time with a good battery, it has good tires, good brakes and is pretty clean for a 1982. The bike 42,350 mile on it. Bike is very easy to ride and gets great mpg. Look at the pics and email for more information. Bikes comes as you see it with the aftermarket driving/fog lamps and the removable windshield. Bike can be driven home anywhere without any known problems to me. I can pick up the winning bidder at a Sacramento area train/bus/plane station. If you want to have the bike transported please check the rates before you win the bike. It might be more or less than you think. Buyer to pay all transport fees. Bike is selling as is where is, there are no warranties implied expressed or given. Taliban Magazine Condemns America but Praises Honda

Manufacturers are usually glad to hear positive reviews of their products, but we’ve got a feeling Honda is not happy about the ringing endorsement it received from the latest issue of the Taliban-published magazine “Azan“. The English-language magazine is a pro-Jihadist quarterly; pure propaganda designed to recruit impressionable and disillusioned Muslims in the West. It’s somewhat jarring then to find buried within the radical rhetoric a full page spread on a 125cc Honda as one of the Taliban’s “Steeds of War”.

Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.

Honda Announces 2014 Cruisers, Customs and XR650L

American Honda announced several models returning for the 2014 model year with no changes save for a couple of new color options, but the same pricing as 2013. These 2014 model announcements include Honda’s 750cc Shadow cruisers, its 1300cc customs, the entry-level 250cc Rebel cruiser and the XR650L dual-sport. Those waiting for more substantial changes will have to wait a bit longer for more 2014 Honda announcements.
