For sale is a Honda CX500 Custom. Motorcycle is in very good condition and VERY well taken care of. My husband does most of the work on it himself and always kept in great repair. It has only 9,788 miles on it!! He is the 3rd owner that I know of and only rides it for pleasure at home. It is a garage kept bike, but due to being over 30 years old, does have just a little bit of rust. I believe that a lot of that would come out with just a little cleaning.

He has really loved this motorcycle, but doesn't ride it much and it needs to go to someone who will get more use out of it :) It is an awesome classic motorcycle and will be perfect for anyone's collection! These are getting harder to find in good condition so don't pass up this great deal!!

My husband just gave the carburetor a great cleaning and its running really good now. The tags just expired in July so it would need to go through inspection. I'm sure it would do so with no problem. There are no major issues, just normal wear for the age of the bike. There are some rust spots and one very small tear in the seat that is almost not noticeable all the way on the back. (see pics) The leather has been very well taken care of. It also has some scratches on the paint, but no major pealing or anything like that. $100.00 deposit through Paypal needed within 24 hours of auction end. The rest due in cash at time of pickup. Postie Bike Challenge [video]

The Postie Bike Challenge started in 2002 as a one-off event in Brisbane, Australia to prove that small bikes can travel long distances over both asphalt, dirt, sand, or stony surfaces has turned into a 10-day charity event. The entry fee is $4,000 but almost everything is taken care of, including: Late model Honda CT110 Postie bike (registered to you!) All breakfasts, lunches and dinners All fuel for the trip One way air ticket back to Brisbane Support truck to carry equipment, clothing bag and mechanics Final celebration dinner and hotel accommodation That’s right, you can keep the Honda CT110 Postie bike (designed for commercial and agricultural, also used by Australia Post) but the concept is to give the bike to charity in your name after the event is over, its up to you but more than 90% of the participants do give the bike back. The 2009 Postie Bike Challenge will take place from October 3rd to the 13th and will go from Brisbane to Melbourne, the destination changes every year. Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.

Yamaha Planning Sub-$500 Model to Undercut Honda Dream Yuga

Not long after Honda launched its ultra low-cost Dream Yuga in India, Yamaha announced it is considering a new own model that will be nearly 40% cheaper. The 109cc Dream Yuga is Honda‘s latest weapon in the battle for India’s 13-million unit per year motorcycle market. Priced at 44,642 Indian rupees (US$806), the Dream Yuga is the most affordable Honda model available in India.
